Much of Baltimore is safe. The murders you hear about are mostly in certain areas and involve drugs, etc. Too much crime, no doubt, but there are very nice sections of the city.

By the way, taser guns are actually illegal in Baltimore to use for self-defense. I guess the city might actually be ruled by criminals.

Is all of Baltimore violent or just certain neighborhoods? Are there any neighborhoods that are safe? I do agree that some communities are violent because people prefer that way of life. At the same time however, I do not believe that martial law is the answer. It would do more harm than good. There is no way to ensure that law enforcement won't commit any crimes. In many parts of the country, cops even come after law abiding citizens for calling them when they don't feel like doing anything.

The reason Baltimore is so violent is because the people who live there want it to be violent. I have lived in and around Baltimore my whole life, these people choose and prefer this way of life. I wont even go into the city anymore it's not worth the risk. |
