OMG the best scene is where some guy jumps in to see the boats' underside and there is a head coming out in the hole!

I have a few early movie trailers from 1974. The scenes where Chrissy gets killed do not have any filter at all. YOu can see e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g in the shots from below her :)

One of my favorites was a small scene. It was when the chief was chumming and the shark casually popped up to grab some. There was no music going on and it was completely unexpected. I was like WHOA!! Soon after was the famous "we're gonna need a bigger boat" line.

Yeah, I kinda always thought they had filmed her attack during the day but, put a filter on the lens to make it look like it was night. Even in the still shots I've seen of her attack look like it was in plain daylight when it was filmed. They did an excellent job on her because, to this day, when I watch the opening scene of the movie, I still think her attack looks like the real thing!

Want to hear a funny story? The famous sequence was shot mostly in the day, and some at night. You can tell a filter was applied to the footage shot in broad daylight. They had to do this, because you wouldn't have been able to see her. Look at the night shot where she says "come on in the water!" you can't see her.
