hmm Hap Ki Do is one of the most effective martial arts from Korea cuz it contains all u need for a long range battle and a close battle... and yo its not similar to Aikido and Dustin Taekwon Do as we know it today is just kinda sport and not a real martial art like it was years ago.... Hap Ki Do attacks the weakness of a opponent and uses all it needs to take him down... so some techniques prolly look similar to other martial arts but the Hap Ki Do way is unique and its very effective...

sorry mate but you are wrong.... TAE KOWN DO.. it about 2500 BC and it wasn't call tae kown do in those days......... it was practiced in festivities in corea; TAEKOWNDO name was given recently......HAP KI DO....... was created out of JUI JITSU japanes.... adding some kicking but they are related but no similar.

one would have assumed after such a long time that you'd have known more about your own art, then again hap ki do does encompass these days a far broader range of styles and teachings than it did traditionally. it is conceivable that what u practice may be very different and infact share alot with judo

Ive been doing it since 1999.

belts are rarely relevant as a measure of anything, let alone ones understanding of a martial art. i have however been studying hap ki do for 6 years now
