yes your right even lebanese christians have arab lineage that goes back to the ghassanids.but sadly many maronites are quick to deny this because they dont want to be affiliated with being an "arab" or one of "those people"

hey idiot how about you shut up a respect peoles opinions and perspectives because if people like YOU really did then we would never have a problem in lebanon anyway.BTW i dont belive the lebanese are arabs and u have no right to say that lebanon is arab because originally it was us (The Christians & the Druze) who inhabited the land.The muslims came much later. I dont mean any offence but this is the way history is.

I hope you are right. I'm afraid however, that - as shown even by violence - not everyone's being appreciated for his or her own view. Even the parties in Lebanon who want to live in peace with Israel, do their best to show they are anti-Israel. Why is that? Why not stand up for what you believe in? If there would be peace in the region, the region would florish. It's rich enough to receive loads of tourism and it has a great cuisine.If only!
