I was just reading other posts about this song being about communism, and if communism is a world were we can all live in peace and harmony, where we don't fight over religion, or gender, or race, or sexual preference, then I welcome communism. Frankly, I believe it's just pure Liberalism. A Liberal I am.

It's funny you say, "god iluminate his soul in heaven" because what this song is saying to have no religion and to not have to fight over it.But Mr. Lennon is truly the master of peace. I wish he had lived to our present day. Maybe we could be protesting this Iraq war. Maybe our troops would be home sooner.
