This 9 minute clip shows a Ferrari (actually it is a Mercedes S class, but the car was dub over with a Ferrari engine noise.. LOL) tearing through central Paris. Supposedly the driver managed a top speed of around 120 miles per hour through Champs-Elysées which is pretty impressive. This was taken from a French movie called, C'était un rendez-vous. It was done in the 1970s so that explains why the driver didn't stopped ones. Also, this clip was used in the latest Snow Patrol video, Open Your Eyes. Anyway.. enjoy the 9 minute clip.

i was born years after this... but my dad told me that they did that with a ferrari to capture the soundbut the video is exceptionaly dubbedhow the hell would they dub the movie with that kind of perfection in the 70s? that looks like it was made last week... with a macmy dad also said that he could have SAID that he was driving a mercedes... for legal reasons

For those who still can't believe it's dubbed, do you think everything you see at the movies is real? LOL. Look up undercranking...While still pretty belligerent, it really isn't anything near the speed a Ferrari would be going in top gear. As others have said it shows when he passes other cars. Pretty obvious.A favorite trick of those working in the business on second units ( which usually do all of the stunts/chase sequences ) is to turn the sound off when you judge a chase sequence.

French filmmaker Claude LeLouche kept quiet for a couple of decades but has recently admitted that it was an MB 450SEL 6.9 he used for the camera car. There was not a Ferrari in sight! The 275 GTB was dubbed over it. Yes, it was simply creative editing. Not bad for 1976

There was a possibility the sound was dubbed over it, yet some people estimated the car exeeded the top speed of the 450SEL 6.9L. ALso, the 450SEL 6.9L was only available with a 3 speed automatic tranmission, but you can ear the car change up to 5th.

There are an awful lot of white cars.
