you should love tctc then! take a listen to the 1st album.. coopers arent a new indie band anyway, theyre far from it, even tho this songs a bit pants. i understand about all the rubbish indie music coming in cause i dont like it either, but that was a rather sweeping comment there and maybe you should take a listen to more of their stuff before judging with your fists of fury :P

i don´t agree that tctc are boring (the 3. album perhaps was), but "see this through" and "kick up the fire" aren´t at all imo... i like listening to aereogramme, oceansize,mogwai,isis,iliketrains´,porcupine tree... but for me there´ll probably never be a band that i LOVE more than the coopers

My favourite bands include Muse, Sigur ros, the mars Volta, radiohead, rage against the machine, my bloody valentine, the verve, mogwai, mew and many others. Let me know if you want to discuss this further.

I find all of those bands quite boring and unimaginative. Basicly all of this new indie music from the UK (i am british btw) sounds all the same and it is basicly ususally some middle class indie tosser singing in a regional accent about the girl he met the other night walking down the road along with some twangy guitar chords and some boring 'oooohs' and 'ahhhhhhs'. I know that is a huge generalisation, but thats just the feeling i get.

I'll give you razorlight. you can add wombats, scouting for girls, the feeling, all shit. but not these, they are (or was) a great live band. whats your idea of a good band? just out of interest.
