Dear friends, do you know what? as an artist you change your opinion about yourself with the time, i feel this tempo quite too fast too, at that time was OK! but more than the tempo i do not like that we were quite nervous and with very cold hands, and i feel that we would play much better now, my favorite performance of this piece is with De Larrocha and Previn and they play MUCH MORE SLOWLY... and it sounds beautiful!!! thanks any way for posting your comments.

i do agree with you linkinparkaddict101, it is quite fast, con spirito, but i too prefer it a bit slower, to feel the loveliness of this piece...anyway, wonderful skills..i am for one wondering when will i ever reach those level of skills...

sounds great, but sounds better when its slower, like when tamaki plays it.

I'd rather wait for perfection than have it rushed :))).It was beautifully presented, too~...

Wow, what an amazing performance and at that tempo. I think I prefer a little slower tempo, but I'm just in awe of the technical brilliance of these two players. My only complaint is the staging of the pianos back-to-back like that. It looks nice, but you can't hear which piano is playing which piece and I miss the volleying of notes. It's almost like a mono recording.

Usually the best artists in history get the credit they deserve several hundreds of years after their demise. If you look at the best paintings in the world right now and the ones being bought and sold for millions of dollars in auctions, they are all painted by people who are already dead. |
