It's weird.. I've watched to endings to this movie. This one and one where he goes back in time to where he first met Hayligh, and he whispers in her ear "I hate you, and never wanna see you"... it end with him still being alive

He should've watched the part on the video that shows his birth, go back there and instead of crying say "Hi Mom, Dad, Hello Doctors. I'm a talking baby and I know what's gonna happen in the world in the next 20 years." I think he'd have been famous and rich. ;)

This is one of the most depressing movie endings ive seen... how bad would it be to to know that the world, and everyone that would have been around you... would be better off if you never existed at all...

This is probably the saddest ending to a movie that I can think of. It always gets to me. The Butterfly Effect was a movie that just gets you to think.

Im glad they didn't use this ending because it would be unfair of the mother to have three of her babies kill themselves, i prefer the original version.
