I agree. Her piano playing is fabulous - especially considering she's singing at the same time. Like many popular pianists of that time, she studied classical piano.

A touching song beautifully sung by a beautiful girl, top that. It is a rare talent that can convincingly sing whilst accompanying themselves on the piano. With the raising of her arm at the end she says 'I know I'm good. The song is one of those one and a half minute masterpieces of construction. More please

She entertained many of the troop during WW11 and had a radio show never saw here before on film . the Darling je vous aime was her theme I believe..........

I remember her barely from when I was little on the radio. She was well liked and had did a lot to entertain the troops in WW2.........
