...are you saying that this performance was the first time they had performed since Ian died? New Order had had many performances before this one. Heck, their first one as New Order was 4 months after Ian had died.

nah thats bang out of order. Ian had died less than a year ago and it was the first time they had been on stage since Ian died. You cant comment on him like that when you consider what he was going through

im assuming this is on the tour immediatly after ians death e.g the re-arranged tourits impressive if you consider theyre even there at all

I'm glad somebody gave Steve Morris a nod here. He is a very good drummer.Peter Hook has always had a remarkable and unique style, but he's the first to admit that he is a very average musician.Bernard was a great arranger of music (and, actually, an outstanding record producer). As much as I like the chords he penned for Joy Division, he tended to be all over the place in their live performances.I won't rubbish his singing here. He was still pretty new to the role.
