Its about an italian architect obssesed with roman architecture and augustus ceasar because augustus was poisoned by his wife. The protagonist believes his wife has poisoned him because he also has started to become very sick.

i've seen the movie last week in art history lessons, i loved it, the music is so awesome.. could someone tell me the name of this song? i know its one of wim mertens' songs but i cant really find the title.

I should correct myself: actually, it's performed with more feeling here, though the feeling is different in the best possible way - one which gives a familiar listener the opportunity for total rediscovery.

I've seen The Belly of an Architect countless times, yet this video has fully renewed my sense for the film's profound sadness and mystery. Also, the music is as beautifully performed here as on the original recording. A great accomplishment!
