my mom said that when I was a baby and this song would come on, I would start dancing. but only to this song, so it was my favorite song when I was like, just a few months.

Ah, this song reminds me of my childhood. I remember dancing around in the kitchen with my mom and my baby brother, listening to this song. My parents practically raised me on R.E.M's music, so I think I have good taste in music.

I hope you realize this song was meant to mock the Chinese oppressive government (where the rich could avoid harsh laws) hence the lyric "Gold and silver shine."

Oh yeah, I guess I must add that looking back it isn't so funny. I mean, Patrick was messed up. Probably had all kinds of abuse going on at home and what not. He's probably in jail today. Good times though. Good times. |
