You are right of course. An option if you want the same thing with an effects loop is the Cornford Carrera - and I would never sell mine! Nice playing by the way - Gary Moore so underrated in the US - loved here in Europe - Touring April/May 2008 in the UK.

Thanks very much. I wouldn't say the Harly is loud enough unless you intend miking it up. You also have the problem that it doesn't have an effects loop, and effects before the pre-amp sound pants! It was designed for the studio and that's where it excels IMHO.

Very nice playing man, and unreal tone to match!Is the harlequin loud enough to gig? I have a cornford myself but Im looking at the harlequin to use instead!

Glad you got it. Yes, sometimes the thicker neck is better, might find that your hand aches a little for a few days whilst you get used to it though. I love playing my other guitars, then picking up the 58, there is a vibe with them for sure...

i got my 58 on saturday its a big improvment over the standard..i love it what surprised me is the fat neck is actualy more comfy and easyier to play than the 60's i had...thanks for the videos mate:)

Mine is the Iced Tea version. I wouldn't have thought the glossy one would be any different...

yep ive decided im going get one of these guitars im going to trade my standard in aginst one of these either in ice tea or honey burst..one thing you could maybe answer for me is..is there any difference with the 58 vos and the glossy 58 ?? cheers..keep playing this kind of stuff it sounds great on that geetar.. |
