lighter steering? really? My brother has the supercharged one, R53 i guess, and the steering is heavy as shit. And that's why i enjoy driving it. Too bad the made it lighter. I hope they didnt make it much lighter. In R56 i think the suspension is a bit softer too. About power R53 is very powerfull after 4k RPM all the way to the 7k limiter but drinks fuel like a giant. Its very powerfull but you cant notice it that much cause it has less torque than R56. I think they are even fast

i've found out... R 53 made from 2002~2006, supercharged, not as powerful as r 56, heavier steering, bettter handling... R 56 made from 2006 onwards, turbo charged, lighter steering...does not have better handling than r 53

i think that R56 is the turbocharged and R53 the older supercharged.. Im not 100% sure though
