I heard this song couple of months ago for the 1st time. Amazing. One of my favorites. Today, songs don't really express feelings of any kind any more.

The band dedicated the song to Barbara Lewis, a 19 year-old friend of the band who was killed in 1993 by a drunk driver who was fleeing from the police after a robbery in York, Pennsylvania. Barbara had many of her organs donated including a liver to a 10 month old baby, and the song lyrics reflect how her death enabled others to continue living.

i had just joined the navy when this song came out. Ma n it sure does bring back some memories of boot with everyone singing it. and getting in trouble

Nice to see these guys still here. One of my favorite songs by them is "Lift me up." Type in "Lift me up by Live" if you guys want to hear it. Great song its in the movie, "Zach and Miri make a porno" Oh great movie too really funny and one to remember. |
