Frankly, I liked this cartoon. Those of you that are extremely offended ought to consider this: aside from occasional stereotypes, television in the Betty Boop era could hardly be called offensive. Now-a-days, sex, violence, you name it, are spread throughout the media like a plague. I'd much prefer ten minutes of racism than two hours of gore or sex (or often times both). Sometimes I think lfe would be much better if we rid ourselves of such garbage and bought back the classics. I can dream...

This made me REALLY uncomfortable watching. It's incredibly racist, not just with the black children but all of them, but it wasn't at the time. At the time it was probably banned because of the black woman sitting with all the white people. Anyone who thinks it was banned because of the racism should brush up on their history.

Oh no, oh no, a black sterotype baby with big lips, what will we do? Grow the fuck up people, it wasn't banned because of that, it was banned because of the one black chick sitting in the theater with the all whites, couse back then they had segregation times. And i dont see anyone crying about asians or mexicans.
