My name is Josephine, and I was raped before I died. Iuse to enjoy pain and now I infict it upon people. I was tortured and raped until I could not longer breathe. Those bastards now suffer and die, and those who do not repost this will die, too. At the strike of 12AM, those who did not repost this to 5 videos will die a horrible death after seeing a bloody face covered with long black hair. Those who repost this will receive a kiss from their crush. I didn't wanna die, sorry.

Odeon2002: I agree with you; Carlos greatly preferred the BSO over the WPO. I tend to think that the WPO is more virtuosic on a person-by-person basis, but I believe that the BSO put more spirit into its playing and Carlos tended to put out more effort when conducting it. The BSO Rosenkavalier is also musically superior to the later version with the WPO. Obviously both a superb.

Is the MD/conductor having his own performance? Great video Great performance.

When i played this it was slightly faster and the conductor conducted properly instead of waving his baton around!!

And so it goes for Die Fledermaus, Viva Carlos Kleiber.

Not necessarily for the quality of the video, but I think there is no comparison, the version with the Bavarian State orchestra is far better. So alive and so sparkling. So much better. There Kleiber gives his all and gets the following and the result he deserves.

Kleiber prefered the Bavarians and disowned the Vienna. He complained that they did not understand him really. Of course they play beautiful but not with the expression and risk Kleiber wanted.

For me both versions are excellent, the Bavarian-Version ist softer - the Philharmonic-Version more powerful!Greetings from Austria!

I vastly prefer the Vien Philharmonic over Bavarian. They have more expression, are more flexible, more colorful, and are far more responsive to what Kleiber wants. The Vienna Philharmonic never sounds as if it's just "reading notes".

Which version do you think is better - Bavarian State Orechestra or Vien Philharmonics? |
