Aida - Strongest Suit

Bradford was chosen from among 100 high schools across the country to premiere the student edition of this award-winning Broadway musical, and this is a show you don't want to miss."I was blown away," said Braxton Molinaro, 16, describing how he felt when he heard the news that his school had been picked for the premiere."Anyone would be excited to hear that Disney was coming to their school," said Molinaro, who plays Radames, the male lead in "Aida." "It was kind of a shock to all of us."Representatives from Disney Theatrical, which owns the rights to "Aida," will come to Kenosha to see the show, along with those from Music Theatre International, the New York-based company that licenses the show on behalf of Disney, explained Holly Stanfield. Stanfield, who is the show's director and team leader of Bradford's Performing Arts Group, said their visit will be part of the honor Bradford has of being the first group to perform the full student version of this show, which received four Tony Awards, as well as a Grammy, in 2000.
