Dude, there are similarities in the sense that both Sholay and Once upon a time are 'westerns' but apart from that I saw no similarities in the plots.

Oh! The American movie would be Once Upon a Time in the West. Some might argue that it was actually Italian, but I, as a big spaghetti western afficionado(lol), would say that it is more American than it is Italian, even though that it shows all the traits of the spaghetti. |
