Of course , she is impressing. But for my taste she plays it a bit too fast; one has no time to relish the strange accords and sounds so typical of Scarlatti.Pity the metronome had not been invented yet and we cannot really know how Scarlatti really played it.

Hahaha, dude, it's Martha Argerich, you better be impressed and yes, you'll never play this piece as well. Haha... Too funny.

I'm really impressed. I just began to study this song, and I think I won't be able to do it as this fast.

well this is how Scarlatti wrote it to be played, so if you're rude-awakened by this you may now have some insight on how these pieces used to be played back in the day. every single piece of evidence we have: from Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Debussy, Scriabin, Shostakovich, or whom have you, playing their own pieces, indicate that it wasn't too long ago when piano pieces were being played how they were actually written, and it's not too hard to 'artistically' deny it, and spend your time smoking.

this is ungodly. I've been working on this piece for weeks and she just makes it look soooo easy .. that part at 11 seconds in is the hardest for me, followed by the crossed hands sections of the tune (where her left hand crosses over to the right). I can play it accurately and slowly, or quickly and sloppy -- but she combines this incredible speed, accuracy, sensitivity and nuance. simply incredible!

0:29; What about was Scarlatti thinking?

That is amazing... Unfortunately this is not very famous.I trully underestimated Scarlatti, he is much better than I expected...
