I totally agree with you. it was the guy who said things about her and I didn't like it. Music has to be enjoyed and not criticized. Giuni was pure enervy and purely evolved soul. Technical critics have no place here I think.

leggera e classica sono 2 cose diverse e queste ibridazioni non mi piacciono.lo dico da estraneo all'ambiente classico.Con tutto il ripestto per chi non c'è più voglio solo fare un discorso di puro sentimento/emozione che può suscitare ascoltare qualcosa senza scendere nei paticolari tecnici e interpretativi. Mi emoziono molto di più ascoltando sempre su youtubeBellini: Sei Ariette, #1 "Malinconia Ninfa Gentile.

i cant believe that there is such a limited number of recordings of this great voice. it is time for someone to get busy and do some serious remastering of whatever recordings can be found. i checked i tunes and there is hardly anything of her alone. brava giuna, there is nothing to compare with you.

I understand your point of view believe me I do and in fact she is not an operatic singer even though having a unique and priveleged voice but I have to confess the reason of my comment is because I feel a great affection for this singer and I supposed I got a bit emotional about comments on her. I apologize for being a bit rude on your appreciation. I still think she was one of the best singers in Italy and she did lots experimentalism with her voice and her music.Cheers.

it is ovbius that you do not know anything about bel canto or opera, then it is impossible that you can understand a comment like mine, i'm sorry if i did offend you, of course she can be a grate artist in pop or other styles, and she can be very famous in Italy, but this is not her style, every opera singer would tnink the same about her, may be for you sounds good but not for me, and all are free to say an opinion. ciao.

I think your comment is out of place since Giuni Russo was a unique artist with almost an umbeateable voice. She did this things just to have fun. She liked experimenting with her unique voice that is regarded as one of the most weird voices ever in Italy (just try to sing with a range of five octaves and after (just after) you could say something about Giuni Russo.

with all respect, she should sing pop or other things but not bellini, im trying to sing it well and it is not easy, i can not hear fast food in this music! sorry..
