I've come up with a solution. The blacks get an apology and abit of money. And in turn all the blacks leave America NEVER to return. Sound fair?

Blacks should pay reparations to whites for the burden on society,crime,and urban decay they spread wherever they migrate too.Or we could just eat them.

Look, in South Africa reparations weren't possible because whites are in the minority and blacks are in control both politically and in numbers. The result is that there isn't anyone to claim from (although some have looked at American companies) The end result is that the SA govt is forced to do it themselves without a handout, and to be fair, they've made great strides. Reparations are a handout. They aren't a cure. A year after the payout the money will be gone and the status quo will remain.

People think that if Obama becomes president, everything is going to change and reps will be paid and the world will be a happy place. I don't think he will do a whole lot different, but I would rather see a Democrat in office than one of these war-hungry Republicans. I have to admit McCain isn't that bad either though. I would like to see Obama win. Maybe a black man would do something different. Democrats also introduce alot of taxes, which gets money flowing and helps the economy.

Well I'm not liberal. I would probably consider myself an independent Democrat. But anyway, I believe in helping the less fortunate, but reparations just plain don't make sense. Why should taxpayer money go to fund something that we didn't do? It shouldn't. It's no different than this 700 billion dollar bailout bullshit. Taxpayers will have to pay that one. Nobody bails us out. I'm not worried either. Even if Obama wins, he will not make reparations happen. Reps will never be paid.

Actually that one's my bad, I posted that before I read your other comments. I thought you were some liberal prick in favour of reparations. But for the record, I don't apologise for South Africa's past. And I never will. Shit happens. The strong move on, the weak ask for reparations.

Blacks need to pay reparations too!!! They owned slaves in the U.S. too. Google "Black Slave Owners". Blacks cant handle the truth....(University Press of Virginia-1995) was written by Ervin L. Jordan Jr., an African-American and assistant professor and associate curator of the Special Collections Department, University of Virginia library. He wrote: "One of the more curious aspects of the free black existence in Virginia was their ownership of slaves.

Slave reparations is the dumbest idea. Many blacks came here after slavery so are whites supposed to pay them? Plus, a huge number of people immigrated here from Europe during the 1920s after slavery. Another thing, just about all civilizations owned slavery at one point in time or another so should Rome, Greece, Egypt, Iran, Aztec Indians, Turkey, etc etc, repay their former enslaved peoples? Of course not. Past is past. Move on. Reparations are just another excuse to get free stuff.
