almost every man in Greece had sex with men. that was because women were seen as such worthless beings that, even having sex with them was a waste of time. they only did so to procreate. to them, it was like falling in love/having sex with an inferior being. that is why they would rather sleep with their physical and intellectual equals.

I don't disagree with the bad influence they had. The classical philosophers were far greater moralists than the christian fathers but they were not any more influential and THAT's what matters. People should know how contemporary thought came about and Christian fathers played a great role, especially through Middle-ages, it would be a disservice to the students -or anyone who wants to know- not to become aware of such a crucial period of the human thought, bad influence aside...

Stevehtegreatgr You have the audacity to include the Christian founding fathers & the other Christians in the same category as the Classical philosophers, what are you thinking? Are you not aware that it was between Judaism, Christian & Islamic book burnings that only a fragment of the works of antiquity survived & other great authors works became totally lost? These monotheists have done more harm to humanity than good. Damn all religion & their stupid dogmas & fears.
