the mongrel mob guy was so right, our kids in NZ in lower economic areas are bored! theres nothing for them in their towns, i grew up in Rewa and totally agree with him. i was lucky, others werent, kids from broken homes, parents on drugs not able to help themselves let alone their kids, what did we expect to happen? forget them and it'll go away? hope we can wake up to the problem and remove the seeds of antisocial behaviour - fact: poverty breeds antisocial behaviour

These kids have no identity of their own, and so try and emulate what they know & see, that being gangster movies via the worst America has to offer, what they don't realize is, that were these little boys to try to take on those they want to be like, they would be dead in the dirt within seconds.
