I felt bad for her, Actually when I heard about that dream girls gonna be on air again, I was expecting and so happy that holiday will be effie. But I was a little bit shock that hudson appeared though she was good and amazing but I would prefer to hear again holiday!!

Don't get it twisted, even Patti is overlooked. It was hard to break the "Lady Marmalade" image because that was her biggest hit as Labelle, and has yet to sell as many records as that did being a single artist for over 30 years. Now she's 64, and she has so many good songs and performances that went unheard, unsupported, unacknowledged. Both Jen and Patti should be above their counterparts and deserve just as many Grammys as Diana and Aretha. They are strong women with unique strong voices.

jennifer holliday is a great actress she won the tony award for best actress in a musical why would the not put her in the movie along with sheryl lee ralph the original dreamgirls should have done that whole part that loretta devine did in it!!!....

True! Especially since Jennifer Holliday was the superstar of the show. She won a Tony award, Drama Desk award and a Grammy award. Suffice to say that J. Holliday was 70% of the show.

If they can give Loretta Divine (another original cast member) a cameo, then why the hell couldn't they have done it for Jennifer Holliday? It doesn't make any sense!

I would've thought "Dreamgirls" would have called her for something..like she said.even a cameo. I actually thought jennifer hudson would've at least talk to jennifer holiday about the role and all before she entered into character on the movie. Oh well. There both awesome people.

jenny went back to dreamgirls last year but i wish she could do effie again this your since loretta devine and sheryl lee ralph had a reunion they should all do it one more time and tape it
