See, conyers said 'we've all practised law', and that's what this was about; to evade the question through empty talk. His intrusive interrogation is justified by yoo's not answering precise questions, because it would reveal a lot about the president's powers. As conyers said, they're playing a game there. If you understand that, you understand this video: Conyers simply responds accordingly to yoo's behaviour. Committees & courts are put there to play such games. Forget 'proper trial'.

If they made torture illegal, doesn't that outlaw this video? I hope so. It's obvious that Conyers learned how to argue from my mother. Snakes or not, God bless the men who had to withstand that. It's like arguing with the IRS; guilty until proven innocent, and while they're at it they'll just go ahead and decide that you're guilty anyway, just like mom used to do when she found that broken vase! Hello! It could have been the dog! They may be guilty, but let's have a proper trial for God's sake.

Good going Mr Conyers! It must have been very frustrating. Nancy Pelosi needs to consider contempt proceedings on Rove, and impeachment proceedings on Bush/Cheney. Impeachment is an essential check on the Executive branch to assure balance. It is authorized by the Constitution. It is REQUIRED to be used in event of an abusive president. It is the only check on a tyrant, and if it isnt on the table the Legislative branch is not doing its Constitutional duty.Demand Executive accountability
