One more thing Dash171- You can see where Gathol replied to my comment. I also replyed to Gathol who replyed again. I don't know why they don't show up here, but do on the main comment page. You can read those comments on the main comment page for this song that shows comments dating back a year. You will find the 2 comments I made as well as Gathol's there. Don't put words in my mouth until you have the whole story, which isn't really all your fault. But still, I never called John a "dick".

Dash171-I never called John a "dick" to begin with, the other poster did. All I said was that a friend's brother played in his band and he said he wasn't very nice. He told us stories about John none of which had anything to do with his wanting to protect himself and his family from overzealous fans or that he keeps to himself. I would think that would be the smart thing to do. I won't be more specific because I wasn't there myself, and to protect my friend's and John's privacy both.

Yeah, you don't know how many times over the years I could have kicked myself for not going!! Especially after seeing him in concert. He puts on such an awesome show, and I could have seen him for free at my friend's parties. Heck, I would have known him personally and maybe he would have let me into his shows for free. I messed up didn't I?

Just because he keeps to himself, and tries to protect his family from people who are overzealous, doesn't make him a dick.....can you be more specific?? What did he do that YOU KNOW of that makes him a prick??

I don't know. I mean, I really love John's music and all. But I have heard a lot of people who know him, or know of him through someone else, who say that he's not a very nice person. Then again, I also worked with a girl who's inlaws had lake property locally where she and her husband threw keggers every so often. John and his band came to play. I never went tho invited, so I never " officially" met him. She never said anything bad about him. So I don't know for sure. Maybe it's just jealousy?
