two teams. 27 players each. most are "fighters" about 10 are "runners". The fighters keep the other fighters from attacking the runners who score the points. It's vaguely like soccer except the goal goes the length of the end of the field and you get half a point deducted for missed attempts. There is a good article in Sports Illustrated about the "sport"
