He bleached his skin because of his disease. His disease made him get white blotches of skin all over his body. Read WhitneyGetz comment, it explains most of it.

About Michael Jackson's SkinLook up the term "Vitiligo". It causes the body to attack it own pigment cells until the sufferer is basically an albino (void of pigment).Naturally, he's not happy about having it, it actually upsets him to talk about it. He's disappointed about our shallowness and does not like to give people the gratification of going on about it..he thinks that they are the racists and it's a racist obsession they have. I, for one, agree.

Apparently, some people will believe anything they hear in passing.The holocaust, McCarthyism, slavery...couldn't have done those things without people like you, congratulations.But hay, it could have been worse, they could'a shot him. So, I'll try to see the bright side.
