Donnie Gambrell / New Hope Church]SOT: My son called me, we live in the parsonage right close to here, and he said, dad you better start praying cause your church is on fire.FIGHTING THIS FIRE WAS HARD ... THE CLOSEST FIRE HYDRANTS NEARLY THREE-QUARTERS OF A MILE AWAY. FIREFIGHTERS HAD TO FILL WATER TANKERS ... BUT SOME WENT TO A NEARBY CHURCH WITH A SIMILAR NAME.
