Linux is very robust. This is why it manages to run on very old machines. I am running a triple-boot system with:Ubuntu 8.04 DSKTP EDTN,Fedora 9,+ openSUSE 10.3My computer has the following specs:Intel Pentium III 733MHZ (which is copprmine)with a 32MB nVidia Radeon 9600384MB RAMAmazing. And the Poor workings of Microsoft run...HORRIBLY.Linux - 1 Microsoft - 0

Fedora is free (gratuito). Any Linux distro is free. No money for William Gates!

well... compared to Vista's Aero, Beryl together with AIGLX does better! I installed both Vista and Linux Sabayon (including Beryl)... Vista just requires a major upgrade operation in hardware to work as efficient with graphical interface as Linux does. I'd say the same ammount of work to convert Mr 'Doomed' Alex J. Murphy to RoboCop.... (just to give u an idea) :P
