I met Sophie B Hawkins a few years back at Cleveland pride. Amazing voice, so nice. She bought me her own cd(no joke, took money out of her purse) and signed it for me too! Such an amazingly down to earth women.

I am 32 and I was in high school too when I discovered Sophie. It is very weird that I still remember the lyrics, imagine how many times I listened to her album!!! Great song!!!

Yea, me too - this was played everywhere in the mid-late 90s.It was part of the soundtrack to me growing up, I love the 90s so much it makes me really upset to hear all the incipid, commercial crap today.Think everyone would live better lives if good, talented music finally came back. |
