guarantee your not getting this sound with a ZBT or a crash/ride...even with rivets...zbt's are about as close to the sound of a real cast bronze cymbal as my foot is..and this is a china..not a crash ride...but to answer your question yes you can put rivets in them....theres 20 in here...thats kinda ridiculous if you ask me but then again...its a f-cking swish knocker....put anywhere from 3 to 10
