Not sure how US stacks up in Canadian dollars but you can pick up an HD4850 from ATI for around $144USD and it will have better video quality and better framerate on most games than a 9800GTX. I agree NVIDIA held the lead for some time but ATI has came back and stomped NVIDIA into the ground with their new cards.

Well, Nvidia has its ways to "Turn a game into a movie".... I paid my video card for only $169 CDN.... And seriously, the NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GT 512MB is a pretty good video card on the BFG Tech...Anyways, Intel sucks ass..... Slow framerates and my framerate for the AMD AthlonX2 6000+ with the ATI Radeon 1250X. Now with the new Nvidia card, the frame-rate increased... Even with Call of Duty: World at War.

O.oAMD ATI FTW!!!!Price for Price ATI PWNs NVIDIA in every price range. Can't wait for the Phenom II x4s to come out and knock Intel back down a rung or two.

does the crossbreed work with 2900xt

Aparently AMD and NVIDIA - Best combination.... Seriously, when you go Green, it means you go green. For the Intel, it goes blue. So the combination of blue is a bad combination to the Matrix. Seriously, I don't have a poor FPS on Hitman Blood Money, but it has some glitches. And for HL2, its way faster then before.
