All I can say is thank you, what an inspiration.

If the moon was so lucrative it would've been exploited long ago, anyway space travel is far too expensive & the time it would take to produce the equipment needed for such exploits it would negate any benefits because you'd be bankrupt by the time it was possible & then China would come in & take over as the Spanish did with the Portuguese & Al-andalous. It would be cheaper and more likely to succeed following the investment & aid method then your proposal @ this current time.

Many third world nations with a little bit of help and investment will be able to support their populations and then those big populations become huge new markets for profit. We can help the third world in a controlled manner in which both sides benefit. Are you going to seize the opportunity to create new markets for American goods or are you going to sit & complain when the Chinese seize the day and your jobs are being shipped over to China.

The Arabs have had 60yrs to produce other sectors and have failed to do so. What makes you think this will change especially since their oil will run out soon. Their education system are some of the worst in the world. They are not competitive in any sectors.

The people in China are satisfied with the current regime. If you look back @ Chinese history they've put up with a lot, the idea of China and unity come above everything else otherwise how could feats such as the Great wall be built with so much human suffering. The soviets did not have that loyalty in their empire. China is the oldest civilisation on earth and will not change from external pressures/trends.

Actually, the real reasons were many there was the threat of communism, pressure from business leaders like Rothschild and Rockefeller as well as solidarity, but you can't deny the massive benefits for the USA that has come from this action, so why not do the same in the third world? It will be beneficial to the USA in the long run.

Your whole argument hinges on the fact that you think that China ill be nice to you. Korea and Taiwan it seems have taught you nothing. They don't trust you and will compete with you to beat you. Stealing their thunder by taking the new markets in the third world which is fast rising out of poverty is the key to a continuation of Pax AMericana or that of any western nation.

Ok, America could easily get new markets if it colonized the moon. The moon has loads of helium 3 (radioactive version of helium that is rare on earth but can provide extremely clean power-read the wiki article). If people lived on the moon, they would also need to purchase things. So there, you could kill 2 birds with one stone by going to the moon. You would not have to worry about dealing with natives, the environment, etc.

The population increase helped Europe only because Europe was able to support the increase in population. On the other hand, many modern 3rd world nations cannot support such an increase in population.

The arabs can use the money they get from the oil sector to develop their other sectors. |
