I'll enlighten you on the torture: Many republicans (I hope I'm not confusing them with liberal republicans) approve of waterboarding. And when the Abu Graib prison torture was made public, one foul creature named James Inhofe said he was 'outraged by the outrage' implying that the prisoners deserved the torture.
