You have to note that both of the masses are still valid, and will be valid for ever.I acknowledge that many novus masses are done very wrong. But here in Europe we still have a lot of churches with !Latin! novus masses, incense, (only) altarboys etc.Which still are beautiful to me.Note also that the blessed pope Benedict is still celebrating the novus mass everyday...It cannot be regarded as false.But hell, the Tridentine Mass is much more fun ain't it!

Thank God for Benedict XVI! Unfortunately, he came too late. After twenty-six years of the "yankee pope" John Paul II (who had nothing in common with John Paul I but the name), it might take a miracle to bring back the true Mass. Novus Ordo Mass is nothing but the Crammer Mass repudiated by High Church Anglicans. Pray for the soul of Paul VI who unconsciously did so much harm to Holy Mother Church. Marcel R.

I believe you are of good will, so take what I say as some fraternal correction:The Mass is not about preferences or "catering to our needs." The Mass is the unbloody re-presentation of the sacrifice of calvary. They are one and the same. GOD deserves the most reverent worship that man can give HIM. The Novus Ordo is, as the present Holy Father has called it, "a banal, on the spot product." Tradition must flourish. Not just the traditional liturgy, but doctrine and practice as well.

Going to nom will make you confuse about new rite and old rite. why should i go to nom if the church is already corrupted thru its innovation by modernists? if you know the defects that could harm your faith, shud you oblige your sunday worship? the nom is more doubtful because of its 3 things needed for validity which are MATTER, FORM and INTENTION. I reason this fact because it's the CATHOLIC TRADITION which have been existed in centuries. Not from neo-catholic. liberalism is a work of devil

In which fact of the church doctrine says that communion in hands is not sacrilege? Do you know that even the clergies unaware of St.Thomas Aquinas' that ONLY CONSECRATED HANDS OF THE PRIEST should touch the consecrated sacred host? (summa Pt III Q.82 Art #.3.We cannot receive in hands because our hands are not CONSECRATED but priests'. If n.o church says it's ok to receive in hands, then st.thomas and other popes were wrong about receiving in hands EVEN it had been stressed before. Obedience? |
