Some voices seem made for performing specific songs. I believe this is of one those instances. Te Kanawa's Gretchen am Spinnrade is another.

Ja, die Sängerin singt Deutsch.Yes, the singer sings German.Ich glaube die Übersetzung ist auch recht gut.I think the translation is quite good.Aber ich selbst obwohl ich Deutscher bin verstehe nicht den ganzen Text. But I alltough I am German cant hear the whole text.So I think it is realy a beautifull peace.I wish a good Year 2009.By the way if you lock for the scales in German it is called: Meditation über ein Thema von Bach von Gounoth
