omg u guys! this song isnt actually insulting, its showing someone who has a belief and wants 2 show it! thats all, even if it is slutty, it isnt insulting it is just her singing! the directors and people of music and lyrics wouldnt have done it if it was meant 2 b insulting would they?

A lot of people are saying that this song is insulting Buddhists. In my opinion, it isn't. To me Cora is one of those people that call themselves a Buddhist but don't actually know what it means, she just thinks it's cool. I see this more as an isult to ignorant know-it-alls who believe they are part of a religion just because they say so. Also, she is a fictional character, chill!

jesus/christianity HAS been used many many times to celebrate/criticize/ironize religion. it's not a question of 'respecting other religions'. people who believe in sth metaphysical, like an other-worldly entity, are the WORST problem for humanity. and if you can't use a belief - even in a pocultural context - without being threatened by people like you, then where's the respect, i ask.

Well respecting is one thing, but damn is a movie come on learn to laugh, for me god doesnt exists and i would not care if a someone makes fun of that because in fact a lot of people do it, so its just stupid to get mad because of a movie which is the pure expresion of modern entertainment, not to watch a comedy and talk about respect to releigions, Oh and Haley Bennett is impressiveley hot and cute.
