Malmsteen your full of it. How long can you play the same scales over and over and over, Ive seen you solo over the same chord progressions since '83. its boring please stop. Just stop. pick up a Jazz album learn some Country, for godsake do something to progress.... stop ur classical bullshit! no one cares about ur harmonic minor souless solo crap anymore, The guitar will allways reinvent itself and be loved. So should you!

I hate Yngwie. John Petrucci, Michael Romeo, Randy Rhoads and Satriani are way better

The arpeggio is a way to implement a consistent tone: instead of touching them simultaneously, are heard in quick succession, usually the most severe to the most acute.

Can someone explain what arpeggios are ?

xD, yeah if he played as fast as he could he would probably bring armageddon upon us all, good thing he prefers to play solos with feeling, and knows when to slow down. I'd go see him live, but I'd fear for my life.
