I had a pleasure to hear her in this role at Tbilisi State Opera couple of months ago, her performance was just superb, so powerful, so free and so convincing..in addition here i have to mention her artistic qualities, that are also remarkable

Magnificent! From the depths of desperation she manages to spew Pharaonic venom to the passing priests. There was a time when opera singers did not use the stage very well resulting in very static performances. Not her! Her formidable vocal talent and command of the stage makes a compelling performer that you cannot take your eyes away from her even if to look at Domingo (who I adore). Brava Dolora!

My God, She is truly amazing! The dialogue with the priests wasn't very convincing at first, but then what and end notes... BRAVA!

I thought there might never be a replacement for Fiorenza Cossotto as Amneris. Dolora Zajick may well be it. Brava!

Spectacular! Two great artists at their considerable best!Domingo still has the full measure of Radamesand Zajick is by far the finest Amneris sinceFiorenza Cossotto. She commands the same typeof vocal fireworks and chews the scenery in away that cannot fail to bring down the house! Her final curse on the priests is absolutelyspine tingling!Brava Dolora and thanks for posting! |
