I think the original Dick Barton was a radio series from the late forties which invariably ended on a cliffhanger,as Sir Digby lives in a fantasy world where he battles against "his nemesis, some bastard who is presumably responsible" this is highly appropriate.

The song is called The Devil's Gallop. It's from a 70s TV Show (and maybe radio show) called Dick Barton Special Agent, which is what Sir Digby Chicken Cesar is based on.Imagine if we were younger. That Mitchell and Webb Look would be funnier and we could have watched Pulp Fiction in a cinema!
