even if you do cook your food thoroughly... unless you're practicing 100% aseptic techniques while serving the food on autoclaved and sterilized plates in a vacuum sealed space... you're bound to have bacteria on your food ;)

even if its cooked, there will still be bacteria from the surroundings. cooking them just changes the texture and taste of the meat. in conclusion, its just food and eat them whether you are hungry or not. =D

I still believe raw fish contains bacteria no matter how fresh that is. Think about it, even live fish has bacteria that is why fish is cooked or boiled or fried to kill the bacteria.
