He was asked if it could be scaled up to produce 100KW. You mis-understood.

A quick google search for "Joe Holden" should get some people answers to questions.

Yeah, I agree, this is to small, he claime it will run a 100kw, there's no way that lil turbine is gonna put out 180+, I dont care if the stream is 100' above it... That would be 43.3psi water pressure & through those lil 3 inch pipes he would be lucky to hold steady a 1800RPM 20kw generator under a load...

Dont get me wrong, that is a nice looking turbine project, but a turbine that small will not produce enough h/p to spin a 100kw genorator under a load with gravity fed water, & I dont care if the stream was 100 feet above that turbine, the water pressure would only be 43.3... That small of a turbine wont come close to the 168 h/p @ 1800rpm to spin 99% of the worlds 100kw generator's on the shelf... I estimate that turbine's power to be more suitable for a 10kw generator.

Where does all this input for this machine come from? Did I miss something? If it is powered by water, where does the head pressure come from?

It is possible to do

simo, why use a jacuzzi jet to recycle when you could use several siphoning tubes as long as the lift wasn't too high Maybe do a duel storage resivoir for 2 levels of siphoning. Just have to get the water started.
