Cathy is just great in this very personnal but convincing canto de Macumba. The tempo should be 120 animado. Anyway It's amazing.

This is sung with such raw emotionality, and yet such incredible control, even restraint. Cathy Berberian is a truly amazing vocalizer (singer doesn't capture well enough the breadth of her vocal talents). Thank you for posting this. |
