I read a book called the tragic story of Badfinger, it was absolute shit, so full of untruths. It was written by some negative who thinks he is the group.

I agree...the song reminds me of a time living in London, full of unrequited love. This song always had this singularly British quality to it for me-hard to explain.

This song and "No Matter What" are both masterpieces. Even though they are love songs, they have a melancholy undertow that makes them absolutely unique, and genuinely haunting, especially considering Pete's suicide. I don't think these songs will ever wear out.
