As a Maori, i think its freaking awesome that they did this, its a great honour and i speak for alot of people. It was awesome to see!! And who cares about the words or technique. The haka is a war challenge, not a dance contest, its all about the Mana (strength) and the passion. Its how u inspire fear in others and excitement at home. Fuck the words! Kia Kaha, Kia toa, Kia manawanui! Aue! May the warriors (or the trojan) live, mo ake tonu atu!

hey i go to that "fuckin american school" and i play for that team. we dont do the haka to trash other countries cultures we are welcoming it into our team seeing as all of the polynesian players that have immigrated brought the haka to us. now it is a tradition and a trademark of the Trinity Trojan Team. Respect it, dont hate. we are after all respecting your culture. |
