I prefer Brutus speech. Marco Atonius brings down the idea of a new republic :P

I often see monologues as spoken arias. Brando is one of my all time favorite actors, he was very present and realistic in his acting, I remember being at an airport when I heard of his passing away, very sad.

hello, jowox, thanks especiallyfor your musical note aboutthe last word speech "ANOTHEEER".Yes, Brandos' speech seems have many relactionswith music, Probably his great instinct as actormake sounds Shakespeare monologuein a manner more near to music than to psychology.

a truly classic monologue! The whole movie is filled with this majestic orations and gielgud and mason are no slouches either!on a side note: brando goes up to a tenor high B flat at the end on the word ANOTHEEER.
