he's talking shite! n3 is more of a danger to people than the m3! travel the bastard of a road everyday the quicker that motorway is finished the better! will bring more people out of dublin to enjoy the country side quicker and safer!

here's a thought....the existing N3 is closer to the Hill of Tara than the new M3...

Build the Road! I live beside tara all my life i think peoples lives are more important than a panorama!

I'm afraid you're too late Johnny it's urbanised already. The road is being built to supply the Meath/Cavan population with access to jobs which are available in the whole in Dublin! Anway I'm off to live in the Hollywood Hills..arsehole

There are some things more important than the will of the greedy rich people. There is no more spirit left in this country. We have to retain whats left of it.

but the lad is right, ireland is too urban, big fancy houses with two people living in them dotted around the countryside like spots on a teenagers face. if people want to work, socailise and live in dublin then stay within the city. lobby for highrise skyscrapers to live in, it works in other major cities. people in this country are culturally lost in a commercial marketing society, what will they do when theres no money to sustain it? nothing, and then this land will truly look disgraceful

Kethtgi... laughing aside, and although you make a few valid points, I think Myers meant well, but was unfortunately ill-informed of the whole thing beforehand. If anything I think he actually endangered the whole action by condoning the motorway, even though he did mention the knock on effects. Also it doesn't help that he no longer lives in Ireland, or that he said...and am I right here? that 'Ireland is becoming too urban? ??? Not good at all.

Johnathan Rhys Meyers to play 'Alan Partridge' in next movie project. 'Keep Tara just as it is...especially for someone who lives in the United States...who's Irish, and doesn't have to live in Navan and work in Dublin... - oh the thoughts of it! Ghastly!!

so you agree with him that the road is 'not the problem'?
